"Sept 2025 - 10 Stars Each time we return we are gifted with warm welcomes, great service, smile and top notch plates. If you are in the area, book a table and try their tapes plates, you will love it. Xmas Eve 2023 - 5 Stars Got some photos this time! What an outstanding restaurant. The food is like they have Gordon Ramsay locked up in the kitchen. Every dish was impeccable! The service staff are amazing, all smiling and it is a testament to the owners, who also have a great sense of humour. Phoebe looked after our table and was all smiles. Sorry I offered a taste of the Squealing Pig Rose' as she was not 18 yet. We were the last table of the day and were made so welcome. Merry Xmas The Dock team and see you in the New Year August 2023 - 5 Stars Why I didn't take a photo of the stunning dishes served has me wanting to return asap to capture the stunning work the chefs here do. Servings were perfect for four of us as each plate had four pieces. The waitress guided us through the menu, so we had about 11 plates! Each dish was so tasty. The prawns were plump and cooked perfectly. The location is relaxing, overlooking the Marina. Parking was a little hard to secure a spot on the weekend with all the whale watching tours underway. Make sure you book a table and enjoy the hospitality"

"A great experience! We had dinner here on Friday night at the recommendation of some friends and it certainly did not disappoint! As the website says, bookings essential so definitely make sure to do that. We were fortunate enough to have a table outside and the weather was lovely with a sea breeze gently blowing in. The restaurant was packed and full of laughter and enjoyment as we arrived. We were quickly seated and given time to look over the menu. The lady who served us was Nath (who turned out to be the manager) and she was delightful. I think we had waited less than 5 minutes (in a busy restaurant on a Friday night) to be served and she apologised for the wait, which was no wait at all. The food was delcious and the drinks were very easy to consume. We had a nice selection on menu items; pork, chicken and a few salads. All were lovely. As I am allergic to shellfish, I cannot comment on that part of their menu but from the servings I saw, it looked to be very good. On top of a series of lovely tapas, dessert was marvous. I had the waffles with a honeycomb crunch added and I can honestly say I'd go back just for that. The pricing is reasonable as well. Nothing is exorbitant and the only reason we spent more is due to not having to drive and having a couple more cocktails. If you're in Hervey Bay, The Dock should definitely be on your list. 5/5 stars."

"Valentines Day special were worth 10 stars. Absolutely fabulous and a great selection. Our fave were many. Haloumi/Tarragon Prawns/Honey Chicken and it goes on. Yes we are regulars but we are because of consistency of food and service."

"For our first time dining here 28th September 2025 on recommendation, we had a table of 6, we were told only 2 sliders left upon ordering our food, our booking was 630pm, last 2 sliders were bought out on mini toast, shocked as we were expecting slider buns. The arancini was delicious, hoping there was more choices of arancini available, but they were very delicious Scallops kilpatrick i didnt like needs improving, scallops weren't seared tasted like theyre microwaved, duck cigars my son enjoyed, fish tacos were a hit at our table. Lemon lime bitters was made exactly how I was hoping, im not a hervey bay resident so I was expecting alot from this place, seems the waiters dont really communicate well with each other either."

"Great location, splendid service and fantastic food packed full of flavours, even for us vegetarians. I would definitely recommend: the roasted pumpkin salad, the corn ribs and sweet potato fries. Thank you to the team at the Dock for your hospitality my gran and myself experienced."

"Overall a really nice dinner, tapas means small plates. Yes the plates are small but the portions were large for some of the dishes so you have to order quite a lot. if you want a good dinner which all adds up, two adults and one child a couple of cocktails $160."
